Jamel has over 17 years of experience in application security. He has spent the last 10 years conducting hundreds of web application, cloud, external, and mobile application penetration tests for Fortune 500s and complex organizations in a variety of industries including financial services, entertainment, cloud storage, energy, technology, healthcare, pharma, and the federal government. Jamel spent the 7 preceding years using SAST tools, conducting security code reviews, and working as an automation engineer/performance tester where he spent significant time writing automation scripts in Java and JavaScript. Jamel has also been a speaker at the Army Logistics University on web application penetration testing and other cyber services and holds the following cert: eWPT.
